3 new Rockstar games we'd love to see
Rockstar is bringing a game to the PS4 and Xbox One sometime before March 2015! That's great news, but the team behind Grand Theft Auto wasn't giving any hints as to what that game might be. Here are some Rockstar games we'd love to see on the new consoles.
Red Dead Redemption 2
At the absolute top of our list, we're dying to jump back into the world of Red Dead. The first game was touted as 'GTA with horses' until everyone got their hands on it and realised it actually bested GTA in many ways. Setting, story and characters all came together to make something that was truly memorable, and it remains at the top of most people's favourite game lists nearly four years on.
Imagine the Wild West setting on the PS4 and Xbox One, standing at the height of a mountain and observing the desert landscape for miles and miles. We want more shootouts, more cowboys and more of that amazing music.
Max Payne 4
Max Payne might have been around for a while now, but that slow motion technique of unloading bullets into enemies while diving sideways remains as impressive as ever. Can Max gather all his energy and do it a fourth time? Of course he can!
It doesn't have the impressive open-worlds of GTA or Red Dead, but it does have the best gunplay and it's one of the hardest games around when the enemy AI is on the hunt.
LA Noire 2
Placing story above all else, LA Noire was a breath of fresh air that dared to do something a little bit different. It wasn't perfect, but a sequel could right the wrongs of the original and give us the detective game we're all asking for.
The studio behind LA Noire might have since been shut but that doesn't mean the franchise is dead, with Rockstar saying it was considering the future of the series a few years ago. Could we finally see the return?
What it will probably be...
Let's face it; we don't want to get our hopes up too much. That's why we're bracing ourselves for the announcement that this mystery game will be a port of GTA V onto the new consoles. It would still be amazing to see, but everybody has bought GTA V by now and we want to see Rockstar bring something new to the table. Come on, Rockstar! Surprise us!
