BioWare has cancelled plans to release a first person shooter (FPS) Mass Effect game.
Originally part of Mass Effect 3's multiplayer mode and called Team Assualt, the game would be expand on the Mass Effect universe and allow players to experience the game in the FPS genre.
However, according to a post on All Games Beta the project has been canned, despite hosting some very interesting screenshots of the world and environment (found below) which looks like it could be Eden Prime.
There has been no more information on the decision, however, any more details and we'll let you know.
