Wii U to get more launch window titles

More games will be announced for the Wii U launch window soon, claims Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime.

At the moment there is a small selection of titles set to launch with the Wii U on 30 November, with more to be released in a launch window that lasts until 31 March.

Fils-Aime outlined the problems of providing players with a 'launch window'.

He told IGN: "This is a real double-edged sword, because there are other people who are complaining that [the launch window is too long].

"What we're trying to do is give the most complete picture of the games that are going to be available now, as well as over the next number of months. That's why we've focused on this launch window, through 31 March."

Fils-Aime added that more games are in development for Wii U that will come out "during the launch window that we haven't announced yet."
