Xbox Live Rewards scheme launched

Microsoft has launched an Xbox Live Rewards scheme to offer discounts to players with high Gamerscores.

Players who have a Gamerscore between 3,000 to 9,999 will be sent a 'Special Gift' on birthdays. Microsoft said the gift only holds a value of £0.15 GBP.

Those with a Gamerscore between 10,000 to 24,999 will receive the birthday gift and a 1% discount from all purchases on Xbox Live.

If you have a score of 25,000 and above you will get a 2% discount on purchases.

Games on Demand, Arcade Games, Game Add-ons and Avatar items are included in the offer.
