Maxis reveals Glassbox simulation engine for new SimCity

EA has released a video showing exactly how the new game engine will work with the game, giving players a more realistic simulation.
The Glassbox engine allows players "What you see is what you Sim," according to a press release from developer Maxis.
EA add that "[e]very aspect of the game is an agent that reports back to the underlying simulation. Watch the world come to life around you in a meaningful way, all thanks to GlassBox," and that players can expect huge changes in traffic, buildings and terrain, amongst other things.
SimCity is due a good old revamp, so we're excited to see more of it. If we get anymore on this we'll let you know.
