Xbox Music launching tomorrow

Microsoft has announced its Xbox Music service is set to launch on Xbox 360 tomorrow.

The service, which replaces Zune, will allow more than 30 million songs to be streamed to the console.

It will become available on Windows 8 and Windows RT PCs, tablets and mobile phones later this month.

Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business president, Don Mattrick, said: "The launch of Xbox Music is a milestone in simplifying digital music on every type of device and on a global scale.

"We're breaking down the walls that fracture your music experiences today to ensure that music if better and integrated across the screens that you care about most - your tablet, PC, phone and TV."

Those interested will have to sign up for an Xbox Music Pass for £8.99 GBP a month, as well as having an Xbox Live Gold account.
