Star Wars: The Old Republic free-to-play details
BioWare has revealed details of the limitations imposed upon players who choose the free-to-play option for Star Wars: The Old Republic.
It was announced earlier this year that the game would go free-to-play, with staff at BioWare citing the subscription fee as the biggest barrier to new players.
Now the developer has confirmed what the free-to-play experience will offer on the official website.
It includes:
- Limited character creation options
- Three warzones per week
- Three flashpoints per week
- Three space missions per week
- Limited inventory and cargo hold space
- Longer quick travel cooldown
- Restrictions on equipping most purple items
