Black Ops 2 will have weapons prestiges

Treyarch has confirmed players will be able to prestige their weapons in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Those not content with only resetting the stats of their soldiers can now prestige their weapons two times.

Treyarch game design director, David Vonderhaar, said on Twitter: "Did you know that you can prestige any gun two times?"

Vonderhaar also stated that weapon level and weapon prestige level is "totally independent" of soldier level.
