Rovio has released the first gameplay trailer for Angry Birds Star Wars.

The upcoming installment in the Angry Birds franchise was announced earlier this month, while Rovio claimed that "Angry Birds and Star Wars universes will collide in our best game to date".

Now the first gameplay footage has been released, featuring the avian Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia using lightsabers and guns to cut through obstacles.
