Windows Phone 8 to get best games by 2013

Microsoft has claimed Windows Phone 8 will get the majority of the top gaming apps by 2013.

The previous Microsoft operating system, Windows Phone 7, was criticised for lacking a number of popular apps.

Now Microsoft is making moves to challenge iOS and Android platforms on the gaming front, with GI.biz reporting that 46 of the top 50 apps will be available by the start of next year.

These include favourites such as Cut the Rope and Draw Something, as well as the upcoming Angry Birds Star Wars.
