Capcom reports positive financial results
Capcom has reported encouraging half-year financial results, which include an increased net profit of 55% - around £354million GBP.
The company released Dragon's Dogma during this time, a game that was very successful and recorded over a million sales.
Also factored into the figure was the shipping of 3.7million copies of Resident Evil 6.
Capcom's Digital Contents business also saw a 69.1% rise in profits compared to 2011 - roughly £272million GBP.
The only bad bit of news for the publisher was Capcom's arcade division, which saw a 7% dip and meant that two arcades had to be closed.
