Mass Effect Trilogy hitting PS3 next month

BioWare has announced a release date for Mass Effect Trilogy on the PlayStation 3 of 7 December.

The trilogy was already confirmed for a 9 November launch on Xbox 360 and PC, but now BioWare has confirmed a December release for Sony's console.

Mass Effect Trilogy features the three games from the Mass Effect series as well as a whole host of downloadable content.

This will be the first time the original Mass Effect game will be available on the PS3.
