Sega reports improved financial results
Sega has reported improved financial results for the six months ending 30 September.
The company's game division saw an increase of 5.7% in net sales year-over-year to £273million GBP.
There was also a £6million GBP reduction in operating loss.
However revenue for the entire company was down by 10% year-over-year to £1.1billion GBP, with profit decreasing 2.7% to £30million GBP.
Sega outlined a new business strategy earlier this year where it will focus on maximising core IP like Sonic the Hedgehog, Football Manager, Total War and Aliens.
