BioWare reveals Mass Effect 3 differences on Wii U
BioWare has revealed the differences between Mass Effect 3 on Wii U compared to other versions of the game.
Mass Effect 3 on Wii U is being named the Special Edition and features "additional content and new features to fully utilise the Wii U GamePad".
External producer for the game, Melanie Faulknor, claimed the GamePad could be used for a variety of things.
"You can control your squadmates, utilise both Shepard and your squad's abilities and even play Mass Effect 3 all from the GamePad - something that comes in super handy if someone else in the house wants to watch or use the TV," she said on the BioWare blog.
The Special Edition will also contain downloadable content on disc.
"The Special Edition includes our From Ashes DLC, the Extended Cut DLC, the Rebellion, Resurgence and Earth multiplayer packs, and a bonus heavy weapon - all on disc!
"We are also including a new update to the Genesis interactive back story comic from Dark Horse we first released when Mass Effect 2 came to the PS3.
"The updated version will allow Wii U players to get the back story of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 and will allow them to make decisions at key story points."
Mass Effect 3 Special Edition will be a Wii U launch title on 30 November.
