Star Wars: The Old Republic is free-to-play next week
BioWare has confirmed that Star Wars: The Old Republic will be free-to-play on 15 November.
Earlier this year the developer announced that the game would be going free-to-play, meaning players can play all the way through to level 50 at no charge.
Now a date has been nailed down for the F2P switch, which will include the introduction of the Cartel Market.
Cartel Coins will be used for microtransactions during gameplay, so players can upgrade their weapons and skills.
Those who already have a paid subscription for The Old Republic will be granted 250 complimentary Cartel Coins.
