Robert Bowling leaves Infinity Ward
Community strategist and all round face of Call of Duty, Robert Bowling, has resigned from his position at Infinity Ward.
Having been at the company for six years, Bowling made the unexpected announcement on Twitter saying "Today, I resign from my position as Creative Strategist of Call of Duty, as a lead of Infinity Ward, and as an employee of Activision."
There has been no reason given for this announcement, Bowling was even at the BAFTAs a few weeks ago with Activision for the MW3 nominations.
Activision has issued a brief statement: "We sincerely thank Robert for his many years of service. He's been a trusted and valued member of the Infinity Ward team. We wish him all the best on his decision to pursue future opportunities."
We hope to see Bowling around in the industry, he was a great ambassador for the brand, and truly one of the only people at Activision who understood the value of community.
