Activision working on Black Ops 2 issues

Activision has confirmed it is working on a solution to connectivity problems faced by some players in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Black Ops 2 launched worldwide earlier this week, with some players reporting gameplay issues with freezing and connectivity when playing online.

The problems have mainly been experienced by players using a PlayStation 3.

"We are aware of connectivity issues that some players are facing in Black Ops 2 on PlayStation 3," Activision said on Twitter.

"We are working on resolution, thank you."

Game design director for Treyarch, David Vonderhaar, also took to Twitter to say that the team is working with Sony to resolve the issues.

"We are indeed up and running, but we are also aware not everyone can connect. We are investigating something with our partners at Sony."
