Next Assassin's Creed may have co-op

Ubisoft is asking fans what they'd like to see in the next Assassin's Creed game.

A survey revealed by The Gaming Liberty shows the publisher asking whether co-op play would be a popular feature in a future title.

"Possibility for a friend to join the game in order to help me at any time during the solo mode," reads one question.

Participants are then asked to respond with 'Not interested', 'Nice to have' or 'Must have'.

Ubisoft has used surveys to help gather fan opinion before, in 2011 a survey asked where the setting for the next game should be.

The American Revolution was listed as a possibility and that ended up being the setting for Assassin's Creed 3.
