The Phantom Pain revealed, could be Metal Gear Solid 5

A mysterious new title named The Phantom Pain was announced at the VGAs over the weekend, with many people claiming it could be Metal Gear Solid 5.

The rumours started almost straight away as it was revealed that the game is in development at Moby Dick Studios in Sweden.

A little bit of searching reveals that the CEO of Moby Dick is called Joakim Mogren, with Joakim being an anagram of Metal Gear creator [Hideo] Kojima.

Journalists at the event also claimed that members of the Konami VIP party were wearing The Phantom Pain/Moby Dick Studios t-shirts.

The trailer for the game also gives off a Metal Gear Solid vibe, with a one-armed man crawling around in an asylum and hiding from bad guys.

The man also bears a remarkable resemblance to Snake.
