Ubisoft opens studio in Middle East

Ubisoft has confirmed that it has opened a new studio in the Middle East.

The official site for Ubisoft Abu Dhabi claims the studio is aiming to create quality online games for the Middle Eastern market.

Job listings state that the studio has opened with 25 staff on board, with 100 staff expected to be employed within the next five years.

Ubisoft Abu Dhabi's managing director is Yannick Theler, who previously worked at Ubisoft Shanghai as human resources director.

No projects have currently been confirmed for the new studio but we'll update as soon as we have more information.
