Microsoft making it easier to migrate Xbox Live accounts

Microsoft is testing a new tool that will allow users to switch Xbox Live accounts to different regions much easier.

NeoWin reports that the tool will enable users to make one change every three months, with gamer tag, achievements, Microsoft Points and Gold subscription all included in the transfer.

There are some items that may not be transferred due to being region-locked, such as subscriptions to TV services and Xbox Music passes.

It will be a much welcome change as currently users have to go through a set to tasks and endure long waiting times to change their region.

Microsoft has yet to officially announce the new tool.
