Crysis 3 not coming to Wii U
Crytek boss Cevat Yerli has confirmed that upcoming shooter Crysis 3 won't be heading to the Wii U.
While Yerli himself claimed that he would love to see the game on Nintendo's newest console, he said that the decision is entirely EA's.
He stated that it's a business decision made between EA and Nintendo and at the moment it doesn't make sense for Crysis 3 to be developed for the Wii U.
"It's a business decision between EA and Nintendo," Yerli told DigitalSpy. "I'd love to see it on Wii U, but what I love to see and what gets done at the end of the day are two different things.
"Even so, I could initiate it but someone has to sell it, right?
"If that business decision doesn't make sense, or seems to not make sense for them, it's... not possible for us to make it. We can't publish ourselves, and that's the bottom line."
FIFA 13 and Mass Effect 3 are the two ports that EA has commissioned for the Wii U so far.
Last week a producer at Crytek claimed that the Crysis franchise could explore more genres in the future.
