Walking Dead FPS launching in March

Activision has confirmed that first-person shooter The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct will launch 29 March.

The publisher also announced a Wii U version of the game to go alongside previously confirmed releases for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms.

Producer for the Wii U version, Glenn Gamble, spoke about the differences that players could expect to find on Nintendo's new console.

"We were over halfway through the project when the Wii U thing started coming about," he told DigitalSpy.

"We didn't want to change the game, because the game had already been established, so we tried to say, 'What can we augment with the Wii U version?'

"That's where it's basically a more elegant inventory management system. With the Wii U you have to access to your backpack at all times, so you can tap what weapons you want, you can drop stuff. It's a lot more streamlined."
