Special Forces: Team X announced

Microprose has announced Special Forces: Team X, a new team based third-person shooter with a similar art style to Borderlands.

It will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PC as a digital download on 6 February.

Special Forces: Team X is a cover-based shooter, focusing on the brutal firefights between squads of special force operatives.

"STX takes place in tomorrow's world, one that is infested with conflicts amongst the geo-political power brokers," reads the press release.

"A world in which conventional warfare is dead, diplomacy is an affront to the hidden agenda of national objectives, and global strategy is accomplished using clandestine military power."

Special Forces: Team X supports asymmetric gameplay with 2-4 teams and 5 different game types.
