Project Gotham Racing 5 rumoured for next Xbox

Project Gotham Racing 5 is reportedly being lined up as a launch title for the next-generation Xbox.

STFUandPlay broke the news and, if true, this would be the first installment in the series since Project Gotham Racing 4 in 2007.

Apparently the game is in development at Lucid Games, a studio made up of ex-Criterion and Bizarre Creations staff.

The move would be a surprise as Microsoft has been concentrating on the Forza Motorsport series and spin-off Forza Horizon since Bizarre Creations was bought by Activision.
