Team17 announces Worms Revolution

Worms Revolution has been announced by Yorkshire-based developers Team17.

The studio has been working on a new game engine which has been developed from the ground up.

There will be new features and challenges, but classic favourites will also be available for the hardcore fans.

Worms was originally realeased in 1995 and hit critical acclaim, with even a Worms song which was released. Since then the franchise has found it hard to find its feet in an ever-changing market, and the 3D offerings weren't the best titles the studio has produced.

We're hoping it'll be much more like the original, with that charm and simplistic game-play.
