PS Vita gets Japan price cut, other regions may follow

Sony has given the PlayStation Vita a price cut in Japan in an attempt to boost sales.
The Wi-Fi and 3G models are now available for 19,980 yen (£139 GBP), down from 24,980 yen (£174 GBP).
The move was made to compete with the Nintendo 3DS, which still outsells the PS Vita despite launching in 2004.
There is no news of a price cut for other regions, but it's likely that Sony is thinking about it.
Sales targets for the Vita have been revised down from 16 million units to 7 million units for the business year ending 31 March.
Earlier this month, Sony's Masaru Kato claimed that the Vita had to be marketed more effectively and that pricing would also play a big part in the success of the handheld.
