Destiny not coming in 2013

Activision has confirmed upcoming shooter Destiny won't be released in 2013.

Bungie's newest title was revealed earlier this week, with the news that it will require an always-on internet connection to play.  

A release date wasn't confirmed, but now Activision has stated that Destiny isn't included in its plans for 2013.

"Activision reiterated that although Bungie's amazing new world was revealed today, Activision has not included the launch in its 2013 outlook and there should be no speculation or expectation of a different result," read a press release.

Destiny will be launching on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and 'other future console platforms', with Bungie COO Pete Persons saying they would 'love to be on the PC' one day.
