Former Assassin's Creed creative director Patrice Désilets has returned to Ubisoft following the publisher’s acquisition of THQ Montreal.
Ubisoft purchased the studio in an auction for $2.5 million USD earlier this year, following THQ's bankruptcy.
Désilets left Ubisoft in 2010 before joining THQ the following summer.
"We are very pleased to welcome Patrice to Ubisoft again and anticipate that this renewed partnership will produce new ideas and high-quality titles for Ubisoft's customers," an Ubisoft representative told Polygon.
Désilets was the creative lead on the first two Assassin's Creed games.
