Civilization V to get Brave New World expansion

2K Games has announced a new expansion for Civilization V called Brave New World.

The add-on will introduce nine new civilizations, each coming with their own unique units and builders.

There will also be new leaders added to the game, including Casimir III of Poland.

"After adding a number of great new features to Civilization V with the Gods & Kings expansion, the team continued to search for ways to create even more exciting gameplay through new systems and features," said Civilization creator Sid Meier.

"We're happy to bring our fans another ambitious expansion that will provide hours and hours of new Civilization experiences."

Brave New World is due to be released on PC and Mac this summer.
