Double Fine adventure game called Broken Age

Double Fine's upcoming adventure game has been given the title Broken Age.

The Kickstarter funded point-and-click adventure will tell the story of a young boy and girl leading parallel lives.

Apparently the girl has been chosen by her village as a sacrifice for a terrible monster, "but she decides to fight back".

"Meanwhile, a boy on a spaceship is living a solitary life under the care of a motherly computer, but he wants to break free to lead adventures and do good in the world," reads a blurb on the game's website. "Adventures ensue."

Broken Age garnered $3,336,371 in funding by more than 87,000 people.
