Ubisoft Toronto already planning next Assassin's Creed

Ubisoft Toronto is already planning the next Assassin's Creed game after Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

The studio is currently finishing work on Splinter Cell: Blacklist, but once that ships there will be plenty of other projects to work on.

One of those projects includes another Assassin's Creed, as well as four other titles.

"As we're wrapping up Splinter Cell, we're also looking to expand, so we're going to be working on five different projects," Ubisoft Toronto's Jade Raymond told IGN.

"One of the franchises that's very near and dear to me, Assassin's Creed, is one of the ones we're going to be collaborating on in Toronto, as well as one other big franchise which we're not going to announce yet."

Raymond also confirmed the Assassin's Creed she was talking about had nothing to do with Black Flag, "because we're currently shipping [Splinter Cell: Blacklist]. So an upcoming Assassin's Creed."
