Thief gets first official trailer

Newly revealed Thief has been given its first official trailer, which confirms a new voice actor for protagonist Garrett.

The voice for Garrett in previous games has been Stephen Russell, but he appears to have been dropped in favour of an as yet unknown actor.

The trailer doesn't give away much, but it does show off Garrett's stealth skills as he makes off with a necklace before jumping out of a window.

"Into this shadowy world steps Garrett the Master Thief in a first-person adventure featuring intelligent design that allows players to take full control, with freedom to choose how they approach and overcome each challenge and forge their own path through the game," said Eidos Montreal.

Thief is planned for a release in 2014.
