Rayman Legends gets 30 extra levels due to delay

Rayman Legends will receive 30 extra levels due to the game's delay, according to developer Michael Micholic.

Legends was originally intended to be a Wii U exclusive, but earlier this year Ubisoft decided to delay it by seven months and turn it into a multi-platform release.

Many Wii U owners were understandably upset, but Micholic said the team is at least using the extra time to create even more content.

"Trust me, the things we are adding aren't major," he told ONM. "We're not talking about adding some polish here and there, but 30 new levels and several new bosses."

Rayman creator Michel Ancel also claimed that he expected the backlash from fans after the delay was announced.

"No, I wasn't shocked, but it was really hard for us," he said. "Of course, there are more important issues and problems in the world but we worked really hard to make something and were so involved, it was difficult for us and the fans."
