Nordic Games: Darksiders sequel not coming this year
Another installment in the Darksiders series won't happen this year, according to Nordic Games CEO Lars Wingefors.
The Swedish publisher picked up several IP in the THQ auction this week, including Darksiders, Red Faction and more for a total of $4.9million USD.
Studios have already contacted Nordic Games about creating a new Darksiders title, but Wingefors said there's no rush.
"I'm impressed with the love and interest that those IPs, especially Darksiders, are bringing," he told GameInformer.
"You can see Nordic Games as a middle man in order to create great new sequels. If we can find the right team with the right terms, I'm sure we can find the right financial solution to make it happen.
"It takes a very long time to make games. You won't see a new Darksiders this year."
