South Park: The Stick of Truth still coming in 2013

Ubisoft has confirmed that South Park: The Stick of Truth will still launch in 2013, despite its absence from the publisher's release schedule.

South Park: The Stick of Truth was purchased by Ubisoft for $3.2million USD earlier this year following THQ's collapse.

Since then things have gone strangely quiet regarding the RPG, however Ubisoft said there was no need to worry.

The publisher sent a statement to Videogamer confirming that the Obsidian developed project was still "scheduled for release in calender 2013".

Some retailers have given the RPG a launch window of August, which would see it going up against the likes of Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Saints Row 4 and Disney Infinity.
