Borderlands 2 character Krieg available next week

Krieg the Psycho will be available to download for Borderlands 2 from 15 May.

The sixth character class is a melee specialist who can get in close to enemies and deal massive amounts of damage by stringing together quick combos.

Krieg is described as a "high risk/high reward" character and he can also inflict fire damage when he himself is on fire.

Krieg will cost 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99 USD, but he's not included in the Borderlands 2 Season Pass.

The next story DLC for Borderlands 2, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, will launch 25 June.
