Solid BioShock Infinite sales can't push Take-Two into profit
BioShock Infinite sold "significantly" more copies in the first month compared to other games in the series, but that couldn't push Take-Two into making a profit.
3.7million copies of the game were shipped to retailers, and there was also "solid demand" for the game's Season Pass.
Borderlands 2 also did very well, shipping 6million copies since September, while NBA 2K13 shipped 5million copies since October and Max Payne shipped 4 million copies since May 2012.
However despite the solid figures all round, Take-Two still ended the fiscal year with a net loss of £19.01million. Although that's a big improvement on the £70.17million it lost last year.
Nevertheless the future still looks bright for Take-Two, which is expecting profits to soar this year due to the impending release of Grand Theft Auto 5.
