1666 put on hold by Ubisoft

Ubisoft has suspended development of Patrice Désilets' 1666 project.
The game was initially in the works during Désilets time at THQ Montreal, but then Ubisoft acquired the studio during the THQ auction earlier this year.
Désilets and Ubisoft have since parted company, and Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot said that work on the project is now suspended.
"After more than two months of discussion with [Désilets], we couldn't align our vision both on project development and team management," he told investors yesterday.
"Consequently our collaboration has ended. We have suspended development on 1666 for an undisclosed time."
Currently it's doubtful whether 1666 will ever see the light of day.
