Tactical Call of Duty spin-off cancelled

Developer Vicarious Visions was working on an Xbox 360, PS3 and PC spin-off title of popular Call of Duty.

The tactical shooter was in development in 2009, but it was cancelled before it ever made it to the public domain.

The story has come from a Superannuation tweet, finding the CV of one of the studio's former animators. A video of the game was also found on the animator's website, but has been removed since the story came to light.

There hasn't been any more information released, but we do know the title isn't the first title to not make it.
