Xbox One can be turned on by voice recognition

Microsoft has just revealed that the Xbox One can be turned on using voice recognition.

Just simply saying the words "Xbox on" can start the console up. Likewise, saying simple commands such as "Watch TV" or "Watch movie" will see the Xbox following your orders.

Not only this, but asking, "What's on HBO?" will jump straight into a TV guide, or saying, "Xbox go home" will take you back to the main menu.

The feature is possible using the in-built Kinect technology, and you can also use hand motions to interact with what's on screen.

Skype will also play a big part in Xbox One, with group video calls being possible.

The news was just broken during the big reveal event, which is happening right now over in America.
