Battlefield 4 release date announced

EA has given upcoming Battlefield 4 a release date of 1 November.

That's the date for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions. It will also be coming to the newly revealed Xbox One and PlayStation 4, although it's not clear when.

EA has previously confirmed that Battlefield 4 will not be heading to the Wii U.

Details of the first expansion pack for Battlefield 4 were also announced.

Battlefield 4: China Rising will be available for free to those who pre-order the game at selected retailers, and it'll contain four huge maps set in China, new vehicles and "high-tech military tech".
