Thief hitting Xbox One

Eidos Montreal has confirmed that stealth-action title Thief will be hitting the Xbox One.

The fourth game in the series is currently in development and promises to be the best Thief title yet.

"The team at Eidos Montreal is thrilled to confirm that Thief is coming to Xbox One," said Stephane D'Astous, general manager at Eidos Montreal.

"The next generation of home consoles allows us to create the best and the most immersive Thief game ever.

"The feedback we have received so far is simply amazing and we can't wait to show more of Thief at E3 this year."

Thief will launch in 2014 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
