Need for Speed: Rivals official teaser and screenshots

EA has released a teaser trailer for Criterion's upcoming Need for Speed offering, developed in partnership with Ghost Games.

The game runs on the Frostbite 3 engine, which intends to maximise the power  capability of the next generation consoles. 

Need for Speed: Rivals has three different modes, single player, co-op and multiplayer.

The player can take on the role of illegal racer or the feds, each party with its unique skill sets to help you come out on top.  If like previous iterations of the game, players can expect EMP charges, speed boosts and even stingers if playing as the police.

Those who pre-order the game will get the Ultimate Cop Pack, which includes exclusive access to the Nissan GT-R Black Edition, early access to Level 2 gadget technology and exclusive livery options.

Need for Speed: Rivals will be released on 19 November for the current generation consoles, it has yet to be determined when it will reach the next generation.
