Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox One will use Kinect
Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox One will work with Kinect so that players can input voice commands.
The Xbox One was revealed earlier this week, and there was a big focus on the advanced Kinect technology and how that can be integrated into games.
Actvision's Eric Hirshberg claimed that he's really excited about how Kinect can work with Call of Duty: Ghosts to make it an even greater experience for players.
"We think the improvements to Kinect really excite us because of the level of responsiveness and detail," he told VentureBeat. "I thought that the demo they did with the voice commands on television, the instant changing between games and music, was really compelling.
"You'll see more of this coming from us as we get closer to the launch."
Hirshberg also said that the Kinect technology wouldn't be used "for novelty's sake" and that it would have to make the gameplay better.
It's not clear if Call of Duty: Ghosts will use the PlayStation 4 Eye technology for voice commands but there's likely to be some functionality.
