Several Sony employees have responded to the #PS4NoDRM campaign which began yesterday.

The confusion over second hand game sales and DRM has been a big issue over the last week, since Microsoft wasn't very clear about its plans during the Xbox One reveal.

However it does seem like a substantial activation fee will have to be paid if players want to access second-hand games on the Xbox One.

Sony has so far kept quiet about what it intends to do with second-hand games, although there are suggestions that it will follow Microsoft and charge players to unlock them.

Users over at gaming forum NeoGAF started a campaign yesterday aimed at circulating the #PS4NoDRM and #PS4USEDGAMES hashtags around Twitter, and a number of high-ranking Sony employees have responded.

"This is why I love PlayStation fans - the passion bucket overflows," wrote Sony's head of hardware marketing John Koller.

"Humbled by the outpouring of passionate PlayStation fans and their willingness to talk to us directly," added SCEA producer Nick Accordino. "Please know that we hear you."

Sony Worldwide product boss Scott Rohde said: "I love passionate #PlayStation fans!!"

However top target Shuhei Yoshida, president of SCE Worldwide Studios, has yet to respond despite being very active on Twitter.

Yoshida's only previous comments about used games are that they will be playable on the PlayStation 4, not whether they would require an activation fee.

Expect an official announcement from Sony at E3 next month.
