Xbox One controller details released

Microsoft has released new details for the Xbox One controller, claiming that over 500 participants tested prototypes before a final design was decided.

There are over 40 innovations over the Xbox 360 controller, including impulse triggers and a brand new D-pad.

The controller will also enter a low power state if it goes unused for a while, saving on battery power.

And for those who grew tired of having to constantly change the batteries on the Xbox 360 controller, this one will come with a USB port so you can plug it into the console, much like the PlayStation 3 controller.
