EA Sports Ignite Engine detailed
EA Sports has revealed more details of its new EA Sports Ignite Engine, which will power games like NBA Live 14, Madden 25, FIFA 14 and EA Sports UFC.
The engine will be able to enhance all games, such as providing bounceTek technology in NBA Live 14 to offer more realistic ball physics.
It was also announced that player stats will be updated constantly, and players will only have to wait an hour after real-life matches to see stats updated in-game.
Athletes in Madden 25 will now use a True Step system to allow them to move their feet quicker, while players will also visibly struggle against each other to gain the best positions on the field.
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was also revealed as the cover star for Madden 25.
Players and crowds in FIFA 14 will also be more realistic than ever, while players will make "more intelligent decisions than ever" as they scan the football pitch for the best routes to goal.
UFC president Dana White also showed up to discuss the new EA Sports UFC title, which will feature an MMAi system to give fighters "a unique level of intelligence".
EA Sports UFC arrives early 2014.
