Square Enix studios get shake-up
Square Enix has announced several changes to its studios in North America and Europe.
Former studio head at Crystal Dynamics, Darrell Gallagher, will now take up a new position as Head of Studios, working on Square's ongoing portfolio strategy.
David Anfossi is to become studio head for Eidos-Montreal, leading the development team on Thief as well as "two other unannounced projects currently in development".
Patrick Naud is taking a central leadership role at Square Enix Montreal while Hannes Seifert will become studio head at Hitman developer IO Interactive.
“Our focus remains firmly set on making great games and delivering unforgettable experiences,” said CEO of Square Enix America & Europe Phil Rogers.
“Whilst our games will come in different shapes and sizes, we want to deliver them faster and better and we believe these changes will help our studios achieve just that.”
