DayZ gets secret release window
The standalone version of DayZ now has a release window, but creator Dean Hall isn't ready to share it with the world just yet.
The zombie survival game was originally targeted for a 2012 launch, but that came and went with no updates on progress.
Now it seems like a release window has finally been set, however we'll just have to wait a little bit longer for confirmation.
"I guess the big question that a lot of people have is when we're actually going to get this out," Hall told an audience at Rezzed 2013 [via Eurogamer].
"We've set a date now - a window of about a week.
"We're not going to say when that is because we were originally going to release them in 50,000 key increments but we decided to do everything altogether."
This could mean a full release will happen within the next few months. We'll bring you more as soon as we hear it.
